Cynthia Coker | CEO and Founder
Cynthia Coker is the founding owner, president and CEO of Asocia Group. She oversees the general management and
directs the company's strategy and corporate growth. Founded in 2006, Asocia Group quickly became a leading information
technology services provider and is one of the top diversity, woman-owned companies in the United States. Asocia Group
is a woman-owned business enterprise(WBE) certified by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). In
2008, Ms. Coker launched a second company, Asocia Healthcare, a premier healthcare IT consulting and clinical staffing
services provider. Asocia Healthcare is a preferred vendor to the largest hospital operators and institutions in the United
States. Ms. Coker later expanded the company’s executive search division into a global executive search firm, Asocia
Executives.
A seasoned healthcare industry veteran, Ms. Coker has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology
and healthcare industries. Ms. Coker began her career in healthcare in the medical device industry with North American
Instrument Corporation(NAMIC), where she was responsible for cardiovascular sales and management throughout the
Southeast. Prior to launching Asocia Group, Ms. Coker held key positions in sales and executive management with leading
healthcare, technology and services companies, including HBOC/McKesson, PeopleSoft, Oracle Corporation, Capgemini
and Eli Lilly.
Ms. Coker is a frequent speaker on topics in healthcare information technology, women’s leadership and executive
recruiting. She currently serves as the Co-Director for Women In Technology International(WITI) Atlanta and is the founder
of Women to Boards.
